Size Chart

 AG Jeans

AG jeans come in several styles and washes.  The basic styles are Angel, Legend, Merlot, and Club. 

the Angel:  The most contemporary body that is out on the market.  These are low-rise boot cut with slight flare.  They look amazing on everyone.   Front rise is 7.5", leg opening is 16.5"

the Legend:  Hip Flare jeans. This is a low-rise flare with some great fashion details (curved heart-shaped yoke in back, embroidered rivets, trouser flare).  Front rise 7.75", leg opening 20".

the Merlot:  Low-rise Boot cut.  More low!  AG's sexy and lowest rise, with a smaller leg opening than the Club.  It has bright yellow threading and a triple stitch detailing.  Front rise 6.5", leg opening 19".

the Kiss:  Slim Straight Leg.  The Kiss is a true straight leg jeans and has antique rivets and a great coin pocket on the front.  Rise 7.75", leg opening 16.5".

the Club:  Well Fitted Flare.  The Club is a more universal fit jean.  It is a low-rise flare with slightly more room in the leg than the Angel.  Front rise 7.5", leg opening 20.5".

Antik Denim

Too intricate to be merely called "jeans", these denim masterpieces are each a work of art in their own right. Childhood friends, Philippe Naouri and Alexandre Caugant, formally known for their work with Diesel, Levi's and the European line GOA, teamed up with Blue Concept's Paul Guez to create a denim line inspired by the 1900s to 1940s Western work wear. The detailed pockets with hand embroidery, leather patches and whip stitching gives each pair its own individual look. Antik Denim has quickly become a recognized premium denim brand in the U.S. and internationally. The manufacturing of the collections is distinguished by a craftsmanship
and care reminiscent of a lost art. Each pair is individually decorated, chasing an era when things were made by hand. Exclusive Japanese and Italian fabrics are used for their quality and comfort. Antik has been seen on celebrities such as Amy McCarthy, Anastasia Ashley, Bai Ling, Cameron Diaz, Courtney Hansen, Hillary Duff , Jennifer Lopez, Jill Montgomery, Lisa Foiles, Michelle Bonilla.  The fit of Antik Denim is much like Seven jeans and True Religion jeans.  They style is one of a kind. 

Blue Cult Jeans 

Blue Cult has gained popularity for great styles and the celebrities who wear them, like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Britney Spears, Kim Cattrall, and many more. The faux rigid fabric has stretch but looks like a rigid denim. Styles like the buttlifter have pockets specially positioned to make your rear look higher.  Blue Cult jeans run smaller than Seven, Humanity, or Paper Denim, much smaller than AG, and fits similar to Miss Sixty. The cut is very slim and looks best on slimmer or fitter body types. 25 = 0 | 26 = 2 | 27 = 4 | 28 = 4/6 | 29 = 6/8 | 30 = 8 | 31 = 10  

C&C Tees 

Designers Cheyann Benedict and Claire Stansfield began marketing a line of luxe T-shirts out of their L.A. garage and ended up creating a frenzy for their pop colored, combed cotton basics that tap into vintage Ts and concert Ts for a couture version of the layered look.  C&C tees are like a second skin;  Very light, airy, soft and forgiving tops that form to the body.  They are made of a super-soft combed cotton that moves and stretches in ways you would expect from a great tee.  With C&C, layering is the key.  These tees are ultra light and thin so you can add layers upon layers without worrying  about looking bulky. The tanks tend to be longer to cover the low rise waist of many jeans and avoid the peek a boo of many jeans.  Some women size up for the top layers and go with their true size for the under layers. A single C&C will leave nothing to the imagination, but two and more will keep you covered and colorful. The range of styles mean countless possible presentations. Unorthodox color combos are the rule of thumb.  Some women have recommended C&C for pregnant women. They buy larger sizes and they still fit and stretch throughout the pregnancy. 

Citizens of Humanity Jeans

Jerome Dahan of Seven is the originator of this amazingly hot denim line known for its vintage look and high quality.  The fit is true-to-size like Seven jeans, but has been re-designed to eliminate the notorious peek-a-boo back effect common with most low-risers. The result is a jean tailored to fit in any position. Stretch jeans generally run true to size (size 27 = 2 - 4), Rigid (non-stretch) should be ordered one size up -Fits all shapes well.  Citizens of Humanity has three basic styles that fit the same with slightly different bodies:

• Kelly: a low-rise boot cut jean
• Ingrid: a low-rise with flared leg
• Faye: a low-riser with a trouser-style wide leg and darts below the waist

In addition to the basics, Citizens of Humanity has several other styles:  Madrid, Thumb Print, Big Sur, Naomi, Del Mar, Ashbury, Elle, and El Toro to name a few. Each style is a take off of the basics above with a little uniqueness of its own.  Citizens of Humanity jeans are the favorite of almost anyone who has tried them on.

Da-Nang

Da-Nang is supposed to fit loose and on the hips. Pockets on pockets with chunky brass zippers are a weight contrast with the ultra-light fabrics.  Current styles show a trend toward heavier, traditional chino/khaki fabrics with an emphasis on Asian-themed embroidery or silk pants, tops and skirts with asian-themed embroidery.   They also have a great selection of embroidered silk tops, skirts, and pants, in addition to their jackets and silk leisure pants and tops.  These do run true to size, remember, they are supposed to be baggy! Da Nang is a favorite of celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Halle Berry.   25-26 (4) = extra-small | 27-28 (6) = small | 29 (8) = medium | 30-31(10) = large  

Ella Moss

Ella Moss is known for bright color palettes, simple shapes, soft, wearable cottons and tonal stripes, Ella Moss strikes a delicate balance of being edgy and vintage, without being over-the-top trendy.   Ella Moss has the look of a high street fashion line, but the feel of your most comfortable T-shirt. The use of luxury blended cottons makes this collection super soft and very stretchy.  While the line runs true-to-size, it is meant to cling to the figure. If you buy Ella Moss, you should expect a very form-fitting cling. Ella Moss radiates effortless style, is casual, comfortable and fashionable, and each piece can always work back to jeans and flip-flops

James Preserved Jeans

L.A. clothing designer Seun Lim created these slimming jeans last year by eschewing trendy topstitching and concentrating on the manipulation of subtle details to present a leaner, meaner silhouette.  This is the first premium denim line to be created by a woman.  The rear pockets are positioned high and on an angle with darts to raise  your backside.  Whiskering is confined to the area around the fly, drawing in and narrowing the hips.  Thigh highlights are lowered toward the knee to lengthen the lower legs and overall height. They put darker denim on the inner thigh to slim the thighs.  The back rise is higher so you do not have the gape when you bend. These jeans run true to size. The basic 5 pocket styles are true to size and run about the same as Seven or Citizen jeans. The Jack styles tend to run a little smaller in the thigh area, similar to Blue Cult jeans. J Brand Jeans

J Brand Jeans are true to size and should be snug when you purchase them, as they will stretch with wear.

10" Ankle Jean - Runs true to size. Super skinny leg, fits like a legging. 10" leg openning, 28" inseam should hit you at about your ankle
12" Pencil Jean - Runs slightly large. If you are in-between sizes or on the smaller end of a size, we suggest ordering a size down. If you are on the larger end of a size, stay with your true size. Skinny leg jean with a 12" leg opening. 
14" Cigarette - Runs slightly large. If you are in-between sizes or on the lower edge of a size, we suggest you order a size down. If you are on the higher edge of a size, stay with your true size. Slim straight leg with a 14" leg opening.

 Joie clothes run very true to size (size 28 = 4/6).  The cargo pants have an amazing fit and are a great alternative to the basic jeans. The line looks great on most body types.  The famous Joie cargo is favored by celebrities everywhere including Patricia Arquette, Alicia Keys, Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heather Graham and Carmen Electra.

Kasil Jeans

The Devoted (6 pocket boot-cut). 
8" rise. Not too high, not too low, just the right amount of distance to the belly.
11" back rise. Sits a little higher to prevent gaping.  20" boot opening, a nice opening that slenders through the knee.

The Devious (6 pocket Slender boot-cut)
8" rise. Not too high, not too low, just the right amount of distance to the belly.
11" back rise. Sits a little lower.
16" boot opening, a good opening that gives a long lean look.

The Democracy (flare fit)
9" rise. Hi Rise. Good for a more sophisticated look. Common among the trouser styles.
13" back rise. Sits right at the back of your waist.

Morphine Generation

Morphine Generation was born over the summer of 2003 in a dingy garage in Hollywood, CA.  The collection was founded and is designed by L.A. based musician/graphic artist, Erik Hart.  Morphine Generation makes handmade one of a kind garments from the world's finest and most luxurious resources.  Morphine Generation looks, feels, and fits better than the last thing you bought.  Morphine Generation is onlys sold in the world's finest stores and boutiques.  Morphine Generation is for Heretics.  

Morphine Generation fits true to size. The shirts are a bit stretchy and have give for a better fit.  The models are wearing size small. This is equivalent to a size small in Ella Moss, C&C, Splendid, etc.  

Notify Jeans

From French denim entrepreneur, Maurice Ohayon (of Fetish, Western Passion and Seven7 fame), Notify has all the accoutrements of a premium denim line - hand stitching, embroidery, ergonomic cuts and advanced washes and glazes. But Ohayon has pushed the boundaries of upscale denims even further with a leg enhancing seam, strategic gathers and the use of a 45-degree cloth cut on the bias, which he claims offers a natural elasticity and diagonal pattern.  The latest styles of Nofity jeans offer A, B, and C cuts for the small, medium, and fuller rear, because not all body styles are the same.  Notify jeans does run true to size.

Paige Premium Denim

Paige Premium Denim is the newest designer denim from one who should know how they fit. Paige Adams-Geller has been the fit girl for just about every high-end denim line except Paper Denim & Cloth.  Discovered by Jerome Dahan, the brains behind 7 for All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity, her 36-27-37 figure has been the de facto standard for Blue Cult, Dickies, Hard Tail, Guess, True Religion, Bluejeanious, Joe's Jeans, Seven, Citizens of Humanity, A.Gold.E., Lucky Brand, Habitual, Liquid, London London, Arden B, Bebe and Wet Seal.  US Weekly named Paige Premium Denim one of the Top 10 hottest denim lines. Jennifer Aniston wears the Laurel Canyon jeans. Kip Morrison of Paige Premium says "The subtle wash and seam placement elongate legs, lift the derrière and slenderize thighs."

Paige Premium Denim comes in 3 basic styles:

Laurel Canyon - The Medium Clean wash looks like your coolest pair of ancient, broken-in Levi's and the fade line down the front leg is very retro. The flared leg makes for a great silhouette; it fits equally well over sneakers or heels. The lighter wash makes these jeans a compliment to tees and tanks, but the flattering lines and low cut guarantee you'll be well-suited for the clubs as well.  They are a trouser cut and have a 7.5" rise (and a 3" zipper) and sits just over the top of the hips. Slightly higher in the back, the waistband fits perfectly.  The fit is very snug through the thigh to the hips. There's no pinching in the waist, giving you a sexy low cut without the feeling that anything's spilling over or falling out. The cut is ideal for a number of body types: hip-py, big thighs, stick-legs and hour glass figures can wear this denim comfortably. A long inseam (33") means most will need to tailor, but with Laurel Canyon this shouldn't be a problem: the distress work is on the thigh; you can chop the bottom without destroying the aesthetic.

Hollywood Hills - Hollywood Hills comes in the Dark Distressed wash and the medium distruct wash. They are a classic, 5-pocket jean.  The dark wash makes them fitting for a broader range of events (i.e., you could go more formal in them). The legs of the Hollywood Hills cut are straighter and wider through the thigh. Though these have a nice flare through the leg, the effect is diminished because of the roomier upper leg. The hips and waist are nicely contoured for a flattering, comfy waistline that sits a little higher than the super-low Laurel Canyons.  Who are they for? Anyone who wants a comfortable jean that fits great but doesn't cling to every curve. Great for larger thighs or those with small hips who want to size down and fill out the legs.

Mulholland Drive - Mulholland Drive has the vintage look of the Medium Clean wash and the clean lines of a trouser. This is a great alternative to the 5-pocket style we've filled our wardrobes with. Mulholland is more snug than than Hollywood Hills or Laurel Canyon. It doesn't pinch in the waist, but fits tight there and through the hips. Slash pockets give a little more room in the hip/thigh. The leg has a super-fun flare with a wide cuff.  The trouser cut is great. Slash pockets in the side seams leave the legs clean from top to bottom.  The welt back pockets do the same for your behind. The overlapping tabbed waistband is a formal touch that's fun and different. The wide leg opening looks fab with pointy shoes. All these classic detail make the Mulholland Drive a great choice for a sophisticated look. 

Paper Denim & Cloth

Paper Denim & Cloth focuses on two main cuts but is known for its variety of washes.  Each season they have fashion pieces that range from special denim cuts to new fabrics.  Paper Denim is worn by many fashionist who like the clean back pocket and basic style.  Paper Denim & Cloth is know for it's extremely soft brushed denim.  The styles come with slight stretch for a great fit and all day wear.  It has two basic cuts:
Mod is a very low rise, Tru has a slightly higher rise than Mod, but is still considered low rise. They run true to size (size 28 = 4 - 6), but cut slim through thigh.  Celebrity fans include Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Hilary Swank.

Rock & Republic Jeans

Rock & Republic is synonymous with innovative style, sex appeal, and edgy sophistication.  With the notion that everyone deserves to dress like a rock star, here is Rock & Republic's fit guide. 

Apple shaped body style (wider shoulders then hips):  Flare legs and bootcuts are the most flattering, both helping to create balance at the ower portion of the body.  Use your sim hips to your advantage by trying a lower rise jeans, such as the Jaguar.  Other flattering styles include the Scorpion - Low rise, boot cut, Jimmy - Ultra Lowrise bootcut with utility back, Vetter - ultra sexy mini.

Straight body style (waist and hip are same size, smaller bottom):  To create the illusion of curves, jeans with flaps on the back pockets can help for a rounder bottom.  Jeans with a flare or bootcut can also help.  Styles inclued the Kurt - Low rise boot cut with flap, Nirvana - Low rise boo cut with utility back, Scorpion - Lowrise bootcut with utility. 

Pear shape (wider hips than shoulders): Boot cut and straight legs are most flattering, the bootcuts creating balance with the hips and the straight cut elongates the legs.  Dark colors are especially flattering.  Styles include:  Kiss - low rise boot cut utility, Kasandra - Low rise boot cut, Cosbie - Low rise straight leg.

Hourglass shape:  While the Kasandra and the Cosbie are good choices you can be adventurous and wear the super skinny leg and ultra low rises.  Styles include Jaguar - ultra low rise boot cut, Halen - low rise slim boot cut, Berlin - cigarette leg.

Rock & Republic Mens Jeans

Body Styles:

Short waist - To elongate the waist, stick to low rise jeans.  Styles include Neil - Low rise relaxed straight leg, Colburg - Ultra low rise skinny leg.

Flat Butt - To create curves try styles with flaps on the back pockets to add bulk.  Slimmer jeans will also help create balance. Styles include Taylor - Low rise boot cut with flap, Fearless - ultra low rise straight leg.

Fuller Thighs - To balance out the curves, try a boot cut.  If your trying to downplay the curves, try a straight leg to help even out the body. Styles include Floyd - low rise relaxed bootcut, Vaughn - low rise straight leg.

Seven for all Mankind Jeans

Seven for all Mankind is known for fit and the ability to look good on virtually all body types.  The non-stretch runs true to size. (size 28 = 4 - 6)
Go down one size in stretch styles.  Seven has amazing washes from their basics to seasonal. The Seven's classic 5 pocket bootcut is the most popular style in basic washes like MNE and NYD.  They are also popular for they Dojo trouser flare jeans and the "A" pocket jeans in all colors.  Seven Jeans are seen on almost every celebrity, and favored by Debra Messing and Sarah Michelle Gellar.  These jeans have become a staple in everyone's closet. They can be worn  casually or dressed up with styles from the Havana destroyed jeans to the new Crystal pockets in various colors and washes.  Most Seven jeans are stretch but some styles are 100% cotton, like the destroyed Havana jeans. The boycut jeans have a button fly with a little higher rise and wider waist.

Dojo - Waist: Low, Fit: Tight, Leg: Ultra Flare, Fly: zip - Sits low on waist higher in back, straight through hips, wider at knee, ultra flare opening.Rocker - Waist: Ultra Low, Fit: Tight, Leg: Kick Flare, Fly: zip - Sits ultra low in front, straight waist, slim fit through knee, small kick flare opening.
Flynt - Waist: Low, Fit: Tight, Leg: Boot cut, Fly: zip - Sits low on waist, contour waist band, boot cut opening. Wide Leg - Waist: Lower(our lowest rise jean), Fit: Tight with a wider trouser leg.

Susana Monaco

At the launch of her clothing line, Susana Monaco revolutionized the women's fashion world with her comfy supplex fabrics and hip designs. From flowing to fitted, solid to patterns, Susana Monaco just fits any style or any occasion.  The line has been featured in Glamour magazine, Lucky, Vogue, In Style, etc.  Susana Monaco runs true to size.  On the fitted tops you may want to size up if you like a looser fit.    

Tag Denim

Tag+ jeans has found a balance with their butt lifting, leg elongating, and thigh slimming shapes that come in a range of washes. Tag denim has a variety of pocket options and stitching details to satisfy your individual style. Tag offers clean straight leg with a slight flare, a broken-in flare with back pockets that button with signature yellow stitching, or skinny jeans with contrast stitching. With their bright orange Tag+ they are sure to be noticed!

The name behind the brand and these amazing creations is one that has always been synonymous with denim. Since 1983, Orly Dahan began a quest to create the most pure form of jeans. Working with Jerome Dahan, Orly first started producing denim for a company called Oxygen. After a couple of years he saw there was a niche to fill in the surfing world, thus prompting him to help facilitate the launch of the Surf Fetish Brand. In 1985, under the Fetish Group Inc title, Orly Dahan and partner, Raphy Sabbah, started designing a contemporary line of denim for Surf Fetish. In 1999 after the surfing hype died down they launched Tag Rag, a junior and young men’s sportswear line that included denim. Tag Rag became the innovative new trend in young men’s fashion. It was just what the market needed; clothes that were young, edgy, retro and made for all young men.

True Religion Jeans

True Religion Brand Jeans was established in December of 2002 by husband and wife designers, Jeffrey and Kym Lubell with the goal of taking denim in a refreshing new direction. The combined his love of classic rock and her love of hip-hop and R&B to produce a trend setting line made to exceed consumer's expectations of denim apparel.  The Los Angeles based premium denim company has become known for its intense attention to detail: from the fashion-forward seams, to the remarkable embroidery and innovative hand-sanded vintage washes.  True Religion has amassed an impressive list of celebrity enthusiasts including Kate Beckinsale, David Beckham, Sarah Chalke, Courteney Cox, Gary Dourdon, Faith Evans, Tom Ford, Jennifer Garner, Heather Graham, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Donna Karan, Heidi Klum, Nick Lachey, Jennifer Lopez, Freddie Ljungberg, Madonna, Chad Michael Murray, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brooke Shields, Jessica Simpson, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Bruce Willis, the Wayans Bros., and the Cast of Desperate Housewives.

William Rast Jeans

Styles:

The William Rast Savoy jean has a daring ultra low rise and fits snugly through the hip and thigh, breaking at the knee into a flare leg.  This trouser style does run big, therefore most people will want to wear a size down from their typical size. The slightly thicker waist band, slit front pockets, and pressed creased running down the legs gives these jeans their trouser feel. 

The William Rast Belle Flare Flap pocket has 7.5" front rise, 12.5" back rise, and 21" leg opening.  The Belle Flare fits through the hip and thigh, breaking at the knee into a flare leg.  This style runs big so size down from your typical size.
